Letalo z dvema pilotoma in sedmimi potniki na krovu je v četrtek poletelo z letališča Suvarnabhumi v Bangkoku v provinco Trat, znano po svojih plažah.

Po podatkih lokalnih medijev so bili med potniki štirje Tajci in pet Kitajcev, vključno z dvema otrokoma, starima 12 in 13 let.
